Teaching Assistantship is revised for all disciplines w.e.f. 1.7.2003.

1. Assistantship for Ph.D. in Engineering @ Rs. 9500/- p.m.

cources after M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Sc. for 1st two years

(Engg.) or equivalent examination. and Rs. 10,000/-p.m.

M.B.B.S. with one year internship and for subsequent years

qualified in GATE or AIIMS/MCI for MD/MS

(for medical graduates)

For SOM - BE/B.Tech and M.B.A

2. Assistantship for Ph.D. after BE/B.Tech. @ Rs. 8000/- p.m.

B.Arch./B.Sc.(Engg.)/M.Sc./MA for 1st two years

or equivalent degree and qualified in and Rs.9000/- p.m.

the GATE or National Level Test conducted for subsequent

For SOM - B.Sc./B.Com and M.B.A.

Research Assistantship for Ph.D. students w.e.f. 1.4.2002

1. B.E/B.Tech or equivalent Rs. 6500/- - 8500/-

of Rs. 500/-

2. M.E./M.Tech or equivalent Rs. 7500/- - 9500/-

with annual increment

of Rs. 500/-

For Ph.D. students: Rs. 6000/- for first 2 years

Rs. 6400/- for 3^rd year

Contingency : Rs. 10,000/- p.a.

For M.Tech. students:

For M.Tech students: Rs. 2500/- p.m. for 24 months.

Contingency : Rs. 3000/- p.a.

CSIR Fellowship (for Ph.D. students):

Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 5000/- for 2 years.

Rs. 5600/- after 2 years.

Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 6000/- for 2 years

Rs. 6400/- after 2 years.

Contingency : 10,000/- p.a.

maximum period of 5 years including JRF and SRF
