ProVachan is a series of informal sessions organised by the Student Alumni Relations Cell that sheds light on the various non-core sectors that final year students may work in. The sessions have proved to be invaluable to the students as the speakers are alumni of the Institute who are candid and present an unbiased view of the sector they work in. These are highly interactive sessions culminating with a relevant case study providing insight into these fields.
This year ProVachan will be held over a span of five days from 26th August to 30th August. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges encountered by the alumni as well as the opportunities available in different non-core sectors. This will assist the students to not only judge their options based on their interests but also to get a general idea of the pros and cons involved in going for non-core.
