Mr. Aditya Prakash, Dual Degree student of Department of  Metallurgical Engineering & Material Science has been awarded the K. Suryanarayan Rau Memorial Junior Student Award - 2005 for Research and Development in Smart Technology from the Indian Society for Advancement of Materials and Processing Engineering, Bangalore, for his contributions in the development of piezoresistive nano-Si: H thin film for various sensor application.  Mr. Aditya Prakash worked on this problem as his Dual Degree Project with Prof. R. O. Dusane.
