DDS ‘05 in June

 

Design Degree Show (DDS) is the annual exhibition, showcasing the design efforts of graduating students and the faculty members of Industrial Design Centre (IDC). DDS is aimed at creating design awareness in society and simultaneously offers a platform for interaction with the industry. This year it will be held on June 18-20, 2005 at Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay.

DDS has been commanding extensive media coverage on television channels, leading newspapers and magazines. Extensive documentation involving interactive CD ROM and souvenir containing selected works of the students are circulated to designers, industries and other organizations.

 

The exhibition will consist of around 100 panels displaying the design solutions of graduating students. Some panels are dedicated to show academic work and conceptual designs. Some panels are also reserved for the sponsors.

The event will have a one-day seminar on various issues of design.

Past years have had the patronage of leading organizations including Crompton Greaves, TELCO, Bajaj Auto, Godrej, L&T, Tetrapak, VIP, Mahindra & Mahindra, Aptech, Plexus Technologies, and Jasubhai Digital Media.
