Prof. Ashok Misra Reappointed as Director

Mr. Rahul Bajaj, Chairman Board of Governors IIT Bombay, conveyed the consent of the President of India in his capacity as Visitor to the reappointment of Prof. Ashok Misra as Director of IIT Bombay for a second term. Prof. Misra has been Director of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay since May 2000 for five years. A Professor in Chemical Engineering, Prof. Misra is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and Fellow of the National Academy of Science, India. He has 6 patents and over 100 international publications to his credit and is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies in India including Reliance Industries Ltd.
