IETE Awards

Prof. T. S. Rathore, Deptt. Of Electrical Engineering, has been selected for the 12th Prof. K. Sreenivasan Memorial Award in recognition of his distinguished contribution in the field of teaching Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering during the past five years. The award consists of a citation and a cash.

Prof. Rathore also has been selected for the 3rd B. R. Batra Memorial Award given by IETE. This award is conferred to those who have significantly contributed to the overall growth and honour of the Institution and have rendered selfless service to the cause of the Institution over the years for furtherance of its basic aim and objectives. The award consists of a gold medal and a citation.

It is for the first time that a person is getting two IETE awards in the same year.  Prof Rathore had also received Prof. SVC Aiya award of IETE last year. It is also for the first time that the same person is getting the IETE awards in two consecutive years.
