It is proposed to hold an International Workshop on different areas of Nano Technology at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. The purpose of the workshop is to present details of work being done by IIT Bombay and selected universities in the USA in the areas of nanotechnology and nanobiotechnology with the purpose of identifying and fostering focused areas of research collaborations. The important themes of the workshop are :
It is expected that this Workshop will have about 20 to 25 participants from USA, mostly Alumni of IIT Bombay and experts in different areas of Nano Technology. Rest of the participants would include the faculty and students of IIT Bombay. It is also proposed to have Poster Session and Break-out Sessions during the second and third day of the Workshop. Besides presentation of state of the art research, the participants will identify leading edge problems, potential solutions, opportunities to share resources, expertise and exchange of students and faculty.
