AGM-MRSI & THEME SYMPOSIUM: NOVEL POLYMERIC MATERIALS
Materials Research Society of
India(MRSI) is an interdisciplinary professional body which is dedicated to
stimulate accelerated growth of indigenous research and development in the
area of materials science and engineering and their applications. The
Fourteenth Annual General Meeting of MRSI(INDIA) will be held at Mumbai
during February 11-13, 2003. This would provide a forum to the materials
science community for sharing recent developments and innovations along with
emerging challenges. A theme symposium on ?Novel Polymeric Materials? , a mini symposium on ?Ion beam processing of materials? and
a meeting of Asia Pacific Academy of
Materials (APAM)-India have been planned along with the meeting of AGM of
MRSI. As in the previous years, AGM
would include, Medal lectures, MRSI- Honour lectures, and MRSI-ICSC award
lectures. In addition, contributed poster papers covering latest work of
materials scientists in the country, will be presented. FEBRUARY, 11-13, 2003

Materials scientists interested in contributing research
papers in any of the following topics may submit abstracts of their papers to
the Secretary. Contributed papers
will be scheduled for Poster presentations. ·

contributed papers are requested to submit about one page abstract typed in
single space in an area of 220mmX160mm with font size 12 Times Roman. Figures
and tables if any should be included in this area. The abstracts may be sent
by normal mail along with 3.5? Floppy in MS word format or by e-mail to mrsi2002@apsara.barc.ernet.in
as an attached word file ACCOMMODATION :
Limited accommodation shall be available at BARC Training School
Hostel/Guest house, and IIT/B Guest
