The Seventeenth
International Conference on VLSI Design

Mumbai, India,  January 5-9, 2004

The Seventeenth International Conference on VLSI Design and The Third International Conference on Embedded Systems Design is jointly being held at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai from January 5-9, 2004. Several faculty members from the EE and CSE departments of IITB are actively involved in the Conference Committee with Prof. A. N. Chandorkar (EE) is the General Chair.

The VLSI Design Conference is a forum for researchers and designers to present and discuss various aspects of VLSI Design, electronic design automation (EDA), and VLSI technologies. It covers the entire spectrum of activities in the three vital areas, which underpin the semiconductor industry. The International Conference on Embedded Systems seeks to draw researchers and practitioners of the rapidly evolving and challenging field of embedded systems. It covers all aspects of embedded systems design including specification, implementation, validation, and integration. The joint conference will feature regular papers sessions, short paper sessions, special sessions, panel discussions, and industrial exhibits. In addition,a two-day program of tutorials on January 5-6 on VLSI design, embedded systems, EDA, and VLSI technology will precede the conference activities of January 7-9.
