Eligibility

All students barring 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students are eligible for the mentorship program.

Last Date of Registration for Students -- 5th Feb, 2010

With the aim of enhancement of student alumni relationship SARC (Student Alumni Relations Cell) has come up with an idea of Alumni Student Mentorship Programme.

Aim

The aim of this programme is two fold:

1. To provide alumni a platform to interact with students on a one to one basis.
2. To provide students with mentorship so that they can make informed decisions regarding their careers.

Focus

The focus of mentoring will be on career guidance. What students have observed in IIT is that there is a lot of confusion about what to pursue further as they reach the end of their tenure. They needed guidance at this point of time because most of them have no inner compelling urge to pursue a particular field and all the options seem equally lucrative.

The focus is to get help from alumnus to show the way to approach this situation and come to an informed decision at this very critical juncture which decides career paths of students.
