Counselling is a wonderful experience and best alternative medicine for anxiety and to improve focus

I was in second year of my masters when I came to know about counselling therapy at Student wellness center at IITB. I was suffering from generalised anxiety disorder. I used to worry a lot and used to take tension of things which are out of my control. I used to worry about others problem and used to think stupid things about myself.

 Then I met Hima Anaredy Mam at Student wellness center. Her session with me were really fascinating. She taught me how to accept my thoughts and taught tapping therapy. She counselled me by breaking my thought pattern and taught me how to think rationally. She took guided meditation as well. She taught me that accepting you as you are and your thought pattern is a major step in winning battle against anxiety.  We have discussed my each and every bothering thought during that period.

Her efforts helped me in completing my master thesis as well as getting me a good job in campus placement. The most wonderful thing is that even after my graduation she is in touch with me and helps me in my profession as well as personal life.

I will be forever in debt with Hima mam for all help she has done. I wish student wellness center a bright future.
