The 65th Foundation Day of IIT Bombay will be celebrated on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, will be the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The celebrations include the presentation of the following awards:

- Prof. S.C. Sahasrabudhe Lifetime Achievement Award 2024
- Prof. S.C. Bhattacharya Award for Excellence in Pure Sciences 2023
- Prof. H.H. Mathur Award for Excellence in Applied Sciences 2023
- Distinguished Alumnus Awards
- Young Alumni Achiever Awards
