Speaker: US Consul General Mike Hankey

About the Speaker: Mike Hankey, Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service and currently serves as Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai. He has extensive experience in diplomacy, having previously held positions in Amman, Jerusalem and Saudi Arabia. Hankey has led teams to build strong relationships with political, economic and media partners across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. He speaks Arabic, French and Tamil and holds a Bachelor's Degree in international affairs and journalism from George Washington University and a Master's Degree in second language education from Indiana University. Hankey is accompanied by his wife and two sons in Mumbai.
