Inter IIT Sports Meet is the annual sports tournament of the Indian Institutes of Technology. It is organised in December, with the Aquatics events held separately in October. It is the longest-running Inter-collegiate meet where all IITs participate, having been held since 1961. This year (2023), the event was held at IIT Bombay and IIT Gandhinagar jointly.

IIT Bombay also organizes other national-level competitions and events, including the Mathematics Olympiad, the TL CTF (Capture The Flag) National Edition, and the ANNUM-XII, a chemistry conference.

IIT Bombay offers a variety of sports facilities in its hostels, including play areas, volleyball courts, badminton courts, and indoor games like table tennis and carrom board. Some hostels also have gyms and other entertainment facilities. Access to these facilities is typically granted with an I-card.

Self Defence Workshop is designed specifically for women, providing a safe and supportive environment for learning self-defense. Participants learn essential self-defense techniques and body awareness skills to handle potential threats effectively. The program emphasizes not just physical skills but also building self-confidence and a sense of empowerment. Participants receive a certificate upon finishing the program, recognizing their efforts and achievements.

Femme Fiesta celebrated the dynamic role of women in sports through an engaging evening of exploration and fun. The event featured hands-on workshops in cricket, football, hockey, chess, and frisbee, drawing an enthusiastic response from many young girls. The day concluded with a lively informal night filled with mini-games, music, and dancing—rounding off a memorable and empowering experience for all who attended.
