ID Card Photo Capture

PG/PhD and Visiting students of 2023 batch, are requried to visit a temporary ID card stall as per the schedule given below. Your photograph and electronic signatures will be captured for the issue of ID cards. ID cards will be issued later after successful verification of documents in a few weeks time.

Please bring an electronic copy of the following documents:

1. IIT Bombay temporary Visitor Entry pass (that contains the barcode and your roll number)

Your photograph captured now will be the one for all Institute records for the rest of your stay and may be used for your graduation convocation video live streamed on the net. So dress up well and be kind on your appearance.

1. Your shirt/tops must be of nearly uniform colour of dark shades. The background will be white, so avoid lights/whites or white patterns.
2. Formal attire (like a blazer) is acceptable, but not needed. Definitely do not make it fancy or multi-coloured or festive wear.
3. Full face must be visible without any masks or covering.
4. Hairline above the forehead must be visible.
