Prof. S. V. Kulkarni, Department of Electrical Engineering, has received the "Best Paper Award" at the International Conference on Transformers (TRAFOTECH Global 2025) organized by IEEMA (Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association) for the paper titled "An insight into mechanical stresses in the core and windings of power transformers" authored by N. Maheswara Rao (a current PhD student and an employee at Central Power Research Institute, Bangalore), Shrikrishna V. Kulkarni, B. Sai Ram (a former PhD student and now a faculty member at IIT Dharwad), and Amit Bakshi (a former PhD student and now a faculty member at Shiv Nadar University).
