Prof. Amartya Mukhopadhyay, Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, has been awarded the 'ECSI - AMARA RAJA National Award for Advanced Electrochemical Technology' 2025, which is jointly awarded by The Electrochemical Society of India and Amara Raja group. The award was conferred on him during the National Symposium on Electrochemical Science & Technology (NSEST-2025) on August 28, 2025.

He has also joined the editorial boards of ACS Electrochemistry and Journal of Power Sources.
