Prof. Avijit Maji, Department of Civil Engineering, has been elected to serve as Vice President of the Transportation Research Group of India (TRG) for a period of 5 years, with effect from 28th May 2026.

The TRG is a non-profit national society with more than 270 lifetime members dedicated to advancing transportation research, education and sustainable mobility solutions tailored to Indian conditions.
