Hindi Seminar at IIT Bombay on "Reading Culture Among Youth: The Foundation of a Strong Nation”

As a part of the Hindi Fortnight celebrations, a Hindi seminar was organized at the Institute on 22nd September 2025, titled “Reading Culture Among Youth: The Foundation of a Strong Nation”.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Milind Sudhakar Marathe, Chairman of the National Book Trust, Ministry of Education, Government of India, addressed the gathering and stated, “If a campaign to promote a reading culture is undertaken, it can strengthen the very foundation of the nation”.

On this occasion, the Director of the Institute, Prof. Shireesh B. Kedare, emphasized the significance of books, saying, “Books are our teachers, our friends, and an inseparable part of our lives”.

The seminar was graced by the esteemed presence of Institute officials, faculty and staff members, as well as students from Campus School.
