IIT Bombay recently celebrated the inauguration of the 9Tea7 Shack, a vibrant new café within the Project Evergreen Complex, made possible with the generous support of the Class of 1997.

Inspired by the iconic coffee shop near main building, a cherished pit stop between lectures where friendships were forged over coffee and maggi under a welcoming green canopy, the 9Tea7 Shack rekindles that spirit of connection and conversation.

The playful name '9Tea7' is a tribute to the Class of 1997's light-hearted spirit, ensuring future generations know this space was created by alumni who valued those moments of respite, laughter, and endless cacking that made campus life unforgettable.
