IIT Bombay–Linked Startup Awarded at National Level

The Institute is proud to share that Prof. Kshitij Jadhav’s (Asst. Professor, Koita Centre for Digital Health - KCDH (IIT Bombay) | Chief Project Coordinator, AI Centres of Excellence, MoE, GoI) startup, Rad AI Pvt Ltd, has been awarded among the Top 10 AI & Cancer Startups in India under the IndiaAI–NCG Cancer AI & Technology Challenge (CATCH) at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 (Feb 21–22) held in New Delhi.

Rad AI’s Breast mammography screening solution, MAMMO-Q is an AI-driven breast cancer screening and reporting platform that delivers rapid, standardized mammography outputs, including automated image quality checks, lesion detection, breast density evaluation, and structured clinical reports, all within ~1 minute per study. The solution is designed for real-world deployment on existing mammography systems, ensuring operational reliability and clinical relevance.

The IndiaAI–NCG CATCH initiative is a national programme aimed at accelerating high-impact AI solutions across the cancer care continuum; from screening and diagnostics to clinical decision support. The project is being developed in collaboration with Max Healthcare, enabling clinical validation and seamless integration into hospital workflows.

IIT Bombay congratulates Prof. Jadhav and the Rad AI team members Dr. Bharat Aggarwal and Mr. Aniket Aman on this achievement. It highlights the growing impact of faculty-led entrepreneurship emerging from the IIT Bombay ecosystem and its contribution to transforming healthcare through AI.
