To observe Vigilance Awareness Week during 27th October, 2025-2nd November, 2025, IIT Bombay staff undertook a pledge on 29th October, 2025 to promote integrity in public life and achieve a corruption-free society. The Chief Vigilance Officer Prof. KG Suresh briefed the attendees about the importance of eradication of corruption.
The 'Integrity Pledge' was administered to employees of IIT Bombay in Hindi by Joint Registrar Mr. C.P. Joglekar and in English by Public Relations Officer Ms. Falguni Banerjee Naha. The Registrar Mr. Ganesh Bhorkade also attended.
IIT Bombay staff pledged to foster a culture of honesty and integrity and to remain committed to good corporate governance-based transparency, accountability and fairness. This year's theme of Vigilance Awareness Week is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”. The Vigilance Cell of IIT Bombay also organised an essay-writing competition for the campus community today.
