Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director of IIT Bombay inaugurated the new office of the Dean (Administrative Affairs) in the Nandan Nilekani Main Building, IIT Bombay on 1st January, 2026. Prof. Ravindra Gudi, Deputy Director (Finance, Infrastructure and Administration), Prof. Milind Atrey, Deputy Director (Academics, Research and Translation), Prof. K V Krishna Rao, former Deputy Director (Finance, Infrastructure and Administration), Deans, Associate Deans, former Deans and the Registrar also graced the inaugural function. 

The presence of section heads and the respective teams reflected on their commitment to the Institute’s strong administrative framework and its continued emphasis on professionalism, efficiency and institutional excellence. The Director emphasized on further improving the processes and procedures for administrative affairs by utilizing the newly available infrastructure more efficiently.
