Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director, IIT Bombay, inaugurated the Staff Club Building on 3 September 2025. Prof. KV Krishna Rao, Deputy Director (Finance, Infrastructure and Administration), Prof. Milind Atrey, Deputy Director (Academics, Research and Translation), Prof. P. Vedagiri, Dean (Infrastructure Planning and Support), Prof. Neeraj Kumbhakarna, Associate Dean II (Infrastructure Planning and Support) were present during the inauguration of the building. Prof. Gopal R. Patil, Vice-President and Prof. Dasaka Murty, General Secretary and other Staff Club Executive Council (EC) members welcomed and felicitated the functionaries.

Located in bungalow A12, the Staff Club has a Function Hall, a Staff Lounge and a children's Reading Room. Prof. Kedare said, “The Staff Club will help improve community interactions”.

Any employee of IIT Bombay can become a Staff Club member by sending a signed copy of the membership form to any Staff Club EC member.
