IIT Bombay welcomed senior leaders from KPIT Technologies as part of the KPIT Maestros Leadership Development Programme on 10 July 2026, for an engrossing engagement with the Institute’s research, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The visit featured interactions with Prof. Milind Atrey, Deputy Director (Academics, Research and Translation), IIT Bombay, and Prof. Shrikrishna V Kulkarni, Dean (Research & Development), IIT Bombay, who shared perspectives on IIT Bombay’s multidisciplinary research landscape, innovation ecosystem, and the importance of strong industry–academia partnerships.

The cohort also experienced IIT Bombay’s cutting-edge capabilities through interactions and demonstrations at BharatGen and the Drone Lab, followed by a visit to SINE, where they engaged with the Institute’s vibrant startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The visit sparked meaningful conversations around emerging technologies and opened avenues for deeper industry–academia collaboration, reinforcing a shared commitment to translating research and innovation into real-world impact.
