IIT Bombay will be hosting the Golden Jubilee edition of the Inter-IIT Sports Meet, this year. The Main Inter-IIT Sports Meet will be held during December 12-19, 2014. The tournament also included an Aquatics Meet, which was held between October 1-4, 2014.

The meet comprises of a total of 12 sports, namely Athletics, Aquatics, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Table Tennis, Tennis, Squash, Volleyball and Weight Lifting. It is estimated that over 3500 students, sports officers and faculty members from the 16 IITs will be coming to IIT Bombay to participate in the much awaited tournament. Over the years the Meet has been graced by the presence of sports stalwarts like Prakash Padukone, Ramanathan Krishnan, Dhanraj Pillay and Mary Kom to name a few.
