The 58th convocation of IIT Bombay will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 1:30 pm onwards in a virtual reality mode keeping in view the safety measures during the ongoing pandemic.

This one-of-its-kind VR-Convocation will allow the graduating students to experience a sense of achievement and pride of passing out of India’s premier engineering Institute.

Prof. Duncan Haldane, co-recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics (2016) and a Professor of Physics at Princeton University will be the Chief Guest during the ceremony. Mr. Stephen Schwarzman, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Blackstone, world-renowned investor and philanthropist will be the Guest of Honour.
