The purpose of the eSim Marathon - Circuit Design & Simulation with IHP SG13G2 is to provide an open platform to students to innovate, create state-of-the-art design and integrate it into real-world applications. This marathon is based on eSim, an open-source EDA tool for circuit design, simulation and PCB design, developed by FOSSEE, IIT Bombay. eSim is an open-source alternative to PSpice, OrCAD, etc. For more details, please visit https://esim-hackathon-2025.fossee.in.

FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, along with IHP – Innovations for High Performance Microelectronics, is organising this online eSim Marathon - Circuit Design & Simulation with IHP SG13G2. FOSSEE (Free/Libre Open Source Software for Education) is a project funded through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), Ministry of Education, Government of India.

• 16 September 2025 - 23 September 2025: Literature Survey
• 23 September 2025: Report Submission
• 23 September 2025 - 5 October 2025: Implementation
• 5 October, 2025 - 8 October, 2025: Report Submission and Documentation
• 25 October, 2025: Result Declaration (Tentative)
• The selection of the top best design may be sent for further manufacturing at IHP, subject to other Terms & Conditions.
