IIT Bombay FOSSEE GIS Internship in Geospatial Dashboard Design and Implementation

India's first dedicated internship in Geospatial Dashboard Design and Implementation. This internship is organized/ hosted by the IIT Bombay FOSSEE GIS team, in association with the Rural Data Research and Analysis (RuDRA) Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay (Technical Partner), and IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (Organizing partner).

General Instructions for both (1) & (2):
+ This internship is open 'ONLY' for Indian Nationals. The Internship will happen on 'ONLINE MODE' only.
+ Applicants are required to adhere to the 'National Geospatial Policy (India)'+ Applicants must be students pursuing studies in any UGC/AICTE-recognized College/ University in India.
+ College pass-outs who have valid degrees from any recognized Indian University or Board can also apply.
+ Students with demonstrated programming (in any Free/Open Source software) skills in dashboard design, with GIS knowledge, shall be given preference.
+ The duration of the internship shall be 06 months (max.). This is subject to the quality of work, and submission of monthly progress reports (before the deadline) and presentations. Prof. Pennan Chinnasamy and the team from IIT Bombay shall do the evaluation.
+ Keep your updated (i). CV, (ii). 02-page S.o.P. (format given below), and (iii). a NOC ready, while filling this form.
+ The 'selected candidates' are required to abide by the standard operating policies of the "IIT Bombay FOSSEE GIS project".
+ The IIT Bombay FOSSEE GIS team shall scrutinize the applications and inform the selected candidates via email. A faculty from the applicant's institute can be the local mentor. Prof. Pennan Chinnasamy and the team shall be mentors from IIT Bombay. There shall be a one-day orientation program for selected candidates, in online mode.
+ Decisions made by the IIT Bombay FOSSEE GIS team shall be final and non-appealable.
