Speaker: Gunjan Samtani, Global Chief Operating Officer of Engineering at Goldman Sachs,
Country Head of Goldman Sachs Services India.

About the speaker: 
Gunjan Samtani is a Partner at Goldman Sachs. He serves as Country Head of Goldman Sachs Services India, which is the second largest presence of the firm globally. He is also global Chief Operating Officer of Engineering at Goldman Sachs, defining and advancing the firm’s engineering strategy in close partnership with firmwide leadership. Gunjan serves on the Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) National Committee on Multinational Corporations and co-leads the Banking and Financial Services pillar of the AI chapter. He also serves on the Government of Karnataka’s Vision Group on Information Technology. With over two decades of experience in engineering and financial services industry across geographies, Gunjan has held leadership roles in Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, UBS and Bear Stearns. He has authored books in the fields of service-oriented architecture, business process management and collaborative commerce and their applicability to the financial services industry. Gunjan holds an MS degree in Computer Science and an MS degree in Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

The address will also explore the risks and challenges associated with AI, including global guardrails being established worldwide.
