IIT Bombay is organizing the WiSE 2025 (Women in Science & Engineering) program from May 26 to 30, 2025.

This initiative has brought together ~200 bright 10th-grade girls and their women teachers from rural and tribal regions of Maharashtra and Karnataka (68 schools) for a week-long immersive experience in STEM education, creativity and mentorship. Each day, accomplished women - Winspirers - from diverse fields engage with the participants as guest speakers.
 
A core component of the program is the Break-Make-Program (BMP), where students will explore hands-on STEM learning using kits developed in our aiCAS lab. These kits will be sent back with them to their schools, empowering the girls to lead STEM activities among their peers and spark a ripple effect of learning and inspiration. The program is further strengthened through long-term mentorship by IIT Bombay students and the active participation of parents and teachers.
