Prof. Naresh Patwari of the department of Chemistry has been chosen to receive the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar prize in Chemical Sciences for the year 2017.

Prof. Soumen Chakrabarti, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has been awarded Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science & Technology, in Engineering Sciences for the year 2014.
