Director of IIT Bombay Prof. Shireesh Kedare, along with the Deputy Director (ART) Prof. Milind Atrey and Deputy Director (FIA) Prof. Ravindra Gudi, inaugurated the newly-refurbished Jalvihar guesthouse  on 2nd April, 2026 in the presence of other IIT Bombay functionaries.

True to its name, Jalvihar continues to charm with serene views of Powai Lake on one side and lush lawns with a tranquil pond on the other. Its iconic open-to-sky modernist architecture from the 1960s remains as fresh and inviting as ever.
