5th MEDIC - Medical Device Innovation Camp

The Biomedical Engineering and Technology incubation Center (BETiC) along with Desai Sethi Centre for Entrepreneurship (DSCE), and Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) at IIT Bombay plus several academic, medical and industry partners are organising the 5th MEDIC - Medical Device Innovation Camp from September 28 to October 2, 2019 at Victor Menezes Convention Centre (VMCC), IIT Bombay.
The camp has brought together 60 participants from across the country, including doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs and other professionals working on healthcare projects to develop novel solutions for unmet clinical needs curated from different hospitals. The programme also include:
- Inauguration of an Exhibition of BETiC products by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar and Director Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri on October 1, 2019 at 2 pm, at VMCC foyer
- Interaction between BETiC Startups and potential investors on October 2, 2019 at 2 pm, at VMCC auditorium. The interaction will be followed by prizes to winning teams and their 'acceptance speeches'.
