IIT Bombay observes October 2 every year to commemorate the birth anniversaries of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and the second Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The day is also marked as Swachhata Diwas, reaffirming our collective commitment to cleanliness and service to society.

On this occasion, a cultural programme, Swaranjali, will be held to pay tribute through music and performances.
