Talk on three new Criminal Laws

As per the circular received from the Ministry of Education, the Parliament has enacted three new Criminal Laws namely, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, which will replace the British era laws, namely, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 respectively. The Central Government has decided July 1, 2024 as the date on which the provisions of these new Criminal Laws shall come into force.

In accordance with this, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is organising a Talk.
